The Ropkey Armor Museum is proud to celebrate our 30th anniversary! We are deeply grateful to all those who have supported us through the years and thankful for the many visitors who have shared our enthusiasm.
We have enjoyed many fantastic experiences over the years, which have led us to where we are today. We would like to share some of these in a photo essay presented during the upcoming months via Facebook and our website.
We are honored to have the privilege of paying tribute to the veterans who have served our country and of supporting those who go into harm’s way to defend it.
We look forward to sharing this opportunity with you.
Just east of I-74, north of State
Road 32 on county road 150 North in Crawfordsville, Indiana, resides
one of the finest collections of U.S. Tactical Military Vehicles
in the country.
This is a place where the harmony
of man, machine, and emotion can be found over a 50 acre site known
as the Ropkey Armor Museum.
Originally located on the northwest
side of Indianapolis, Fred and Lani Ropkey moved their extensive
collection to the rolling countryside of Montgomery County in 2004.
The museum is housed in a large indoor
facility where the music and memorabilia reflect a time when man
and machine served as one.
The museum is a great destination/location
for car clubs, veteran’s reunion groups, educational tours, and
other civic organizations.
The museum is open March-December,
Monday-Friday from 10:30AM - 4:30PM. Come
and visit the Ropkey Armor Museum and experience the emotion of
our military heritage.
